Refund & Replacement Policy

Thank you for supporting Life Calendar (lifecalendar.io). We are dedicated to helping you visualize your life through our digital tools and physical artifacts.

Because our products are either immediate digital downloads or custom-manufactured to your specific life data, our refund policy is strict. Please read the following terms carefully before purchasing.

1. Physical Products (Custom Posters)

Our physical posters are fulfilled via a global print-on-demand network. This means every poster is a custom, made-to-order product created specifically for you based on the birthdate and life events you provide. We do not hold inventory.

A. All Sales Final (No Returns)

Because your poster is customized with your personal life data, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds due to "change of mind" or buyer’s remorse.

B. Data Accuracy Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring the birthdate and life events entered during the checkout process are correct. We print exactly what is submitted. We do not offer refunds or free replacements for typographical errors or incorrect dates provided by the customer. Please double-check your preview before confirming your order.

C. The "Make It Right" Guarantee (Damaged or Defective)

While we do not refund for "change of mind," we stand by the quality of our product. If your order arrives damaged (e.g., crushed tube, water damage) or if there is a manufacturing error (e.g., ink smears, wrong size), we will provide a free replacement.

D. Lost Packages

If your tracking number shows "Delivered" but you have not received the package, or if the tracking has stopped updating for more than 10 business days, please contact us. We will work with the carrier to locate the item or send a replacement if it is deemed lost in transit.

2. Digital Products (Printable PDF)

Due to the immediate access and non-tangible nature of our digital products:

3. Voluntary Support ("Buy Me a Coffee")

Contributions made via our "Buy Me a Coffee" or voluntary support model are considered donations to support the site's maintenance. These contributions are non-refundable.

4. How to Request a Replacement

If your physical order arrived damaged or you have a technical issue with a digital file, please contact our support team at contact@lifecalendar.io.

Your email must include:

  1. Order Number.
  2. Description of the issue.
  3. Photos (For Physical Damage): You must attach clear photos showing the damage to the poster AND the condition of the shipping tube/box.
    • Note: We need these photos to process the claim with our printing partner. We cannot send a replacement without them.

5. European Union (EU) & UK Consumer Rights

Right of Withdrawal Exceptions: Under EU and UK Consumer Law, the standard 14-day "Right of Withdrawal" (cooling-off period) does not apply to the following:

  1. Customized/Personalized Goods: Life Calendar posters are made to the consumer's specifications (unique birth data). Therefore, they are exempt from the right of withdrawal.
  2. Digital Content: By completing your purchase, you provide prior express consent to the immediate delivery of the content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal.

6. Chargebacks

We take chargebacks seriously. If you have an issue, please contact us first. If you initiate a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank for a valid transaction—including claims of "Item not received" when tracking shows delivered, or "Not as described" due to your own data entry error—we will submit this policy, your order details, and proof of delivery to your bank to contest the dispute.
